On Friday, July 18, 2025, at approximately 2:11 p.m., the Northshore Regional 911 Center received multiple emergency calls reporting a single-vehicle crash on Main Street (Route 1A) near Warehouse Lane in Rowley, Massachusetts.

Responding swiftly, Rowley Police and Fire Departments arrived on the scene to find a 2013 Ford sedan with severe front-end damage. The vehicle had left the roadway and collided with a tree.

The driver, Natalie Munoz, a 25-year-old resident of Newburyport, was discovered unresponsive inside the vehicle. First responders immediately began life-saving efforts. She was transported by Action Ambulance to Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, where she was sadly pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.

A 27-year-old female passenger, also from Newburyport, sustained minor injuries in the crash. She was transported by Newbury Fire Ambulance to the same hospital and has since been released after receiving treatment.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the Ford was traveling northbound on Main Street when it failed to negotiate a turn, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The incident remains under investigation by the Rowley Police Department, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision and Reconstruction Section.

Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, including the Ipswich Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
